We never have contracts at Ignite Spot. Why would you hire an accountant that would make you sign a long-term agreement? To be honest, a lot of accountants require it and that scares us. It gives them the license to slack off in the relationship.
Just to drive the point home further, here are some reasons for why we're month-to-month:
As your accounting team, it's vital that our relationship is based on motivation. Without a contract, we're more focused on the details of your account. If we make a mistake, we feel it and we work to make improvements. If there was a contract in place, it would be much easier to get lazy and not give you our fullest attention. And of course that's not our style.
Our mission is to help every business in America get out of debt and become profitable. In order to get your business to that point, we need to stay focused. There's a lot of work that goes into a good accounting system, and the financial reports need to be accurate.
If we're going to be your accountants, there's already enough paperwork to manage. Why add one extra thing, right?
