We’re a big family of accountants here at Ignite Spot. When we get a new client, we’re extremely excited to learn everything we can about their business so that we can set up the right accounting systems for them.  We may be accounting geeks, but we love what we do.

Over the years, we have been able to work with a lot of businesses and I wanted to introduce you to one of them.  In 2006, three pharmacists decided to leave their day jobs to start their own company. Our CFO and lead CPA Ryan Steck was introduced to them in the early stages of their planning.

Once the business model was complete, they made their leap of faith and created VRX: a mail-order pharmacy with retail locations.  In the beginning, they used us for tax planning and CFO services.  Our job was to help them acquire new partnerships, build a powerful tax strategy, and act as a consulting arm while they got things running.

Eventually they added our bookkeeping services and now use our entire suite of accounting systems.  We even had the opportunity to help them design and implement their point of sale system that they now use in their retail locations.

We are proud to say that we provide their entire accounting team, support system, and financial processes.

Take a look at their success so far:

  • Grew from $0 in sales to $80 million in annual sales
  • Reached #70 on the Inc 5000 List for 2012
  • Grew 3,732% over just the past 3 years
  • Created 43 jobs
  • Honored as the 4th best health company of 2012 by Inc Magazine

They are on a path to achieve amazing success and we’re grateful to be working with them.  In fact, the CEO has said “Ignite Spot will be with us as we grow into the future”.

We are absolutely addicted to helping them achieve their financial goals.  The best part about it is that we’ve built them an outsourced accounting system that is costing their organization less than half of what they would be spending on an in-house solution.
